Jo is a newborn photographer currently living in Connecticut with her husband and her two children. The main focus in her studio is newborns, so she dedicates most of her time educating herself on the art and science of newborns. With nearly a decade of experience, she has been told the she is a “miracle worker”, “baby whisperer”, and most importantly “patient” with tiny humans. She loves everything about newborns, from their little piggies to the tiny white spots on their noses.
By the time Jo was 16, she had lived in 4 different countries so her love of photography began at an early age. She wanted to remember the different faces and places long after she left. She knew then how memories fade but realized how photographs preserve those moments in time and keep them alive.
With every session, she is sensitive to the notion that this time in a life is truly fleeting so aims to capture these precious moments timelessly so you can cherish them forever.
